Flat

Cartridges dedicated to shading and filling, ideal for large, wide surfaces, especially for geometric shapes. Needles in these cartridges are arranged in a single row. All Kwadron cartridges feature the most advanced rubber membrane that protects the machine interior from ink splatters. 

Using flat cartridges 

Flat needles, commonly called flats, allow for precise shading as they are easy to angle correctly. Flats can also be used for outlining, as their shape allows for more ink delivery to the skin with each stroke. This means clearer, darker lines with a single motion. 

Larger flat configurations can be used for filling with color and shading, as they inject much more ink with each pass. Flat needles are good for intricate shading, such as in geometric patterns and works like mandalas.
